1. Who we are
These terms apply to every purchase made through laurentidemontreal.com, operated by Laurentide. By using this website or placing an order you accept these terms.
Note: the registered company name, business address, chamber of commerce number and VAT number should be added here before launch.
2. Our products
We describe every item as accurately as we can. Colours can appear differently depending on your screen and its settings, so a small variation between the photograph and the item you receive is normal and is not a defect.
Measurements and fit notes are given as guidance. Where a garment is described by fibre, that description reflects the information supplied to us by the manufacturer.
All items are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order it, we will tell you and refund you in full.
3. Prices
All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes. Shipping is free on every order within Canada.
We may change prices at any time, but the price that applies to your order is the price shown at the moment you complete checkout.
If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We will contact you before doing so.
4. Your order
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email.
We may refuse or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, where we suspect fraud, where the delivery address falls outside our shipping area, or where a pricing error has occurred. If we do, you are refunded in full.
Orders can be cancelled free of charge until they are dispatched. After dispatch, our Return Policy applies.
5. Payment
Accepted payment methods, security and refund timescales are set out in our Payment Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The full amount is charged when you place your order. Your order is processed only once payment has succeeded.
6. Discounts
Orders containing two items or more receive 10% off the order total, applied automatically at checkout. Automatic discounts cannot be combined with a discount code; the checkout applies whichever gives you the better price.
Discounts have no cash value, cannot be applied retroactively to an order already placed, and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
7. Delivery
Delivery terms, timescales and responsibilities are set out in our Shipping and Delivery policy, which forms part of these terms.
Stated delivery times are estimates. Delays caused by the carrier, by weather or by circumstances outside our control do not entitle you to compensation, but we will always help you trace a parcel.
Risk in the goods passes to you once the carrier confirms delivery to the address you provided.
8. Returns
You have 30 calendar days from delivery to return an item, on the conditions set out in our Return Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right of withdrawal or consumer guarantee you have under the law of your country of residence.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, photography, graphics, layout and the Laurentide name — belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written consent.
10. Using this website
You agree not to use this website unlawfully, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, not to interfere with its operation, and not to extract data from it by automated means.
We may suspend access where these terms are breached.
11. Liability
We are liable for the correct delivery of the products you order and for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for delays caused by the carrier, or for damage arising from incorrect use, washing or care of an item contrary to the instructions supplied with it.
Our total liability in relation to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Circumstances beyond our control
We are not liable for failure to perform where that failure results from events outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, strikes, carrier failures, power or network outages, and government measures.
13. Complaints
If something is wrong, tell us. Email info@laurentidemontreal.com with your order number and a description, and we will respond within one business day and aim to resolve the matter within 14 days.
14. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies in your country of habitual residence.
15. Changes
We may amend these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the version published at the time you placed your order. The date at the top always shows the most recent version.
