- Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter
- The content of any message you send us
Payment information
Card details are entered directly into our payment provider's secure environment. We never receive or store your full card number. We only see the payment method used, the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.

Why we use it
- To fulfil your order. Processing payment, packing, shipping, tracking and handling returns. Without this data we cannot deliver to you.
- To provide customer service. Answering your questions and resolving problems with an order.
- To send marketing, where you have given consent. Every email contains an unsubscribe link and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- To improve the store. Understanding which pages and products are used, so we can make the site work better.
- To advertise. Measuring the performance of our advertising and, where you have consented, showing you relevant advertisements on other platforms.
- To prevent fraud and to protect the security of our store.
- To meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements.
Legal grounds
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract for order data; your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies; our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning and improving store; and legal obligation for records we are required to keep. Where Canadian privacy law applies, we process personal information with your knowledge and consent, for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with parties that process data on our behalf under contract.

- Payment providers — Shopify Payments, PayPal and the card networks, to take payment
- Canada Post — to deliver your parcel, using your name and address
- Klaviyo — to send order-related and marketing email
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and Triple Whale — for advertising measurement and analytics
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted, where we are not required to keep it
- object to processing, including direct marketing
- request a copy of your data in a portable format

In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. If you are in Canada, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
Our store runs entirely over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to run the store. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Children
Our store is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
